YES BANK’s 184 Locations Are Now ISO 14001:2004 Certified

Mumbai (April 12, 2016): YES BANK has successfully completed ISO 14001 certification for 184 of its locations. This certification helps YES BANK to rigorously measure, manage and report its environmental performance, implement world class management system across its new and existing branch network. Currently in its’ 12th year of operation, YES BANK has pledged towards climate action and has demonstrated leadership in the Indian BFSI space to adapt to mitigation frameworks and environmental policies to reduce green house gas emissions and from its operation. The Bank has plans to migrate to the new ISO 14001:2015 version of environmental management system this year, following a lifecycle impact approach of its operation during recertification to the new cycle.

The certification has been awarded by Bureau Veritas Certification (BVCI), a global leader in conformity assessment and certification services post a rigorous set of audits across its branch network. The ISO 14001:2004 Certification would entail that YES BANK reduces its resource usage, waste generation and disposal costs, energy consumption and, improves process efficiency and utilizes recoverable resources.
