Dalmia Bharat Foundation Receives ‘Foundation of the Year’ Award

New Delhi (September 29, 2016): Dalmia Bharat Foundation was recognized among 63 contenders as ‘Foundation of the year (FY15-16)’ by a 9-member jury at the 3^rd CSR Impact Awards today in Mumbai.

CSR Impact Awards is an initiative of NGOBOX that encourages organizations who are delivering high impact and excellence through CSR projects. The awards were supported by IICA of Ministry of Corporate Affairs and evaluated by SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai.

Receiving the award, Vishal Bharadwaj, Head CSR - Dalmia Bharat Group said “Dalmia Bharat believes in making the world a better place and plays the role of a catalyst in transforming communities around its business operations by partnering with local communities, government, NGO’s and other stakeholders. Till date Dalmia Bharat Foundation has reached out to more than 14000 direct beneficiaries and our programmes have enabled them to become employable or have an additional source of income for their families. We have a long way to go and this is just the beginning.”
