TATA MOTORS ANNUAL CSR REPORT 2019-20

Tata Motors in it’s annual CSR report for 2019-20 has said to have touched 8.3 lakhs lives, out of which nearly 41% belong to the SC and ST communities. Promoting community well-being, Tata Motors has actively implemented initiatives under its key thrust areas of Health, Education, Employability and Environment. Tata Motors has said that their collective CSR efforts over the last decade have made a positive difference to the lives of 5 million people across India

TRADE EXCESS CSR ON SSE! 

In a big move recommended by a SEBI committee on Social Stock Exchange (SSE), companies which are spending more than their mandated amounts for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) may soon be able to trade their excess spending on the SSE. Currently, excess CSR spends can’t be carried forward. SEBI has sought stakeholders views by June 30 after which the final guidelines will be put in place.

PMC TAPS CSR FUNDS FOR COVID TESTING

The Pune Municipal Corporation has tied up with Microsoft and several other companies to tap into their CSR funds. This will help PMC to ramp up sample testing & intensify COVID-19 related work on ground. Microsoft has given Rs. 1.4 crores in CSR funds for testing 36,000 patients , while google has helped PMC by supplying pulse oximeters. Pune’s Additional Municipal Commissioner, Ms. Rubal Agarwal has claimed to have made an adequate budget of Rs. 69 lakhs in SCR that would be utilised in coming days!
