What: PRAGATI 2015

Why: Started in 2009 by Vibha and continued in 2011 and 2013, PRAGATI has played an important role in developing better understanding among social entrepreneurs and social sector organizations for developing grass root ideas into scalable community solutions. It also provides an environment among all the social sector projects to learn from each other.

The three-day conference will provide a common platform to all the stakeholders and is structured and designed to share expert opinions and experiences of prominent leading personalities with diverse experiences in the field. The discussions and sessions at the event will address issues and topics related to impact assessment of social sector projects, importance of public private partnership, inclusive education and improving the quality of education in government schools among others. 

Organized by: PRAGATI-2015 has seen Vibha joining hands with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as the event partner. CII is leading the business delegation at the conference so far which will also see the Indian CSR community including social entrepreneurs, NGOs and government representatives share the stage during the event. PRAGATI 2015 brings all its partner projects to one platform with a mission to ‘Connect, Share and Leverage’.

Vibha, a volunteer run, non-profit, non-religious, non-political organization, has been working in India and the US for the past 24 years by promoting causes and organizations in the field of health, education and economic opportunities for children in need. Vibha has so far raised and disbursed nearly $13 million, and has supported more than 300,000 children through 250 grassroots projects in India and the US; with a total force of 2200 volunteers in 20 cities across India and US.
